Dans ces conditions, c?est le Portugais Miguel Oliveira qui a signé le meilleur chrono. Il devance Sandro Cortese et Maverick Viñales. Encore plus surprenant qu?en première manche, le jeune Alex Marquez rentre dans le top-10, 9e. Sidérant pour sa première wild-card ! Mais il a de qui tenir?
Côté français, les représentants tricolores ont un peu de mal. Louis Rossi est 16e, Alexis Masbou est 29e et Alan Techer est 31e.
